Roberds Lake


is located two miles northwest of Faribault, MN, a city which is located in the south-central part of the state; in an area known by some as the prairie lakes region. It is centrally situated about 50 miles from each of the larger cities of Mankato to the southwest, Rochester to the southeast and the metropolitan area of Minneapolis/St. Paul to the north. Lake living, whether it's year-round or seasonal is the best - Everyday the mood of the lake changes to the joy of all. Wildlife is abound from Eagles to the variety of Ducks to Cormorants - We know the fishermen don't like 'em but they are part of our lake.


Lake living is good - it adds serenity to life. The efforts of the Roberds Lake Club are to protect and preserve that way of life and our little corner of Heaven!

Boat Launches:​

Directions: 2 mi NW of Faribault on Cnty Rd 11, then 1.5 mi W on Cnty Rd 37, then 0.5 mi N on Cnty Rd 69, then E on paved road to NW shore.  A recently rebuilt and expanded public launch is located on the west side of the lake and reached when coming from the north from MN 21, taking the first turn to the right from Roberds Lake Blvd onto Cty Rd 69 and follow the signs to stay on #69.  Careful, you don’t miss the left turn on #69 and go straight to Kelly/Dudley Lakes area.  The public landing is next to and also serves Winjum’s Resort. A private launch area on the east side of the lake serves boaters who are guests at Roberds Lake Resort on Roberds Lake Blvd.
